3 and 5 sec delays | 3, 800 | Similar to a dummy pull but on a freefall rig | Cat 4 |
10 sec delays | 4, 500 | On this delay the student will start to level out during freefall | Cat 5 |
15 sec delays | 5, 200 | The student begins to learn how to use an altimeter to gague when to pull | Cat 6 |
20 sec delays | min 5, 000 | The student learns how to make precise 360� turns in both directions | |
Freefall descents of 20 secs | min 7, 000 | Skills such as an unstable exit, dive exit, backloops, tracking (fast forward movement), and turning whilst tracking must all be demonstrated | Cat 7 |
Qualifying Cat 8 Jump | min 8, 000 | One jump including a backloop, two 360� turns, one in either direction, a straight track and an end of dive 'wave off' | CAT 8 |
Once you've reached Cat 8, you can then progress through the Cat system further onto Cat 9 and 10 where you will be able to learn about camera flying, skysurfing, sitflying and much more!!
